Most people list "HAVING A ROOF OVER MY HEAD" as one of life's essentials- and there's a reason for that. It's not just a matter of practicality or aesthetics (both of these play a part). Your roof is what keeps you and your family safe from the sun and snow, lighting and rain.
So cosy up with the knowledge that once your roof is in tip-top shape, it will stay that way for years to come.
Most people get two or three prices which is common sense, but going with the cheapest price is not the always best way to deal with your roof, a cheap price means a cheap job. With a cheap price, it means either using cheap materials or bad workmanship. There's always a reason for them to be much cheaper. Once the roofer has started work on your property you have no choice to agree to what they say and extras start to add up in line of what it should have cost, in some cases it can go well over the highest price of the three.
A badly done roof repair can in the end cost more to put right, than doing it right in the first place. Remember that a builder is a builder, not a roofer! You wouldn't employ us to do your plumbing or electric's.
You pay for what you get.
